VISAA State Basketball Championship

The Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) 35th Boy’s State Basketball Championship will take place at the VSU MPC on Friday and Saturday, March 2-3 beginning at NOON. Tickets are $10 and are on sale at all Ticketmaster Outlets, online at, by calling 800-745-3000, and at the Tri City Designs Box Office located at the MPC.

The championship’s semi-finals round will tip off with 12 teams competing for a chance to advance to the second round. Spread out amongst three divisions, the remaining six teams to advance to day two, will get to compete in the final round for the division’s state championship title. Final round games are scheduled to take place at NOON, 2PM, and 4PM. Last year’s divisional champions included: Trinity Episcopal School, Blue Ridge School, and Williamsburg Christian Academy.
